Images from White Rock Lake in Dallas, Texas. White Rock, or the Rock, has a bounty of urban wildlife, from the pelicans that winter on the lake to the multitude of ducks, egrets, and herons that call the lake home. Less often seen are the mammals, such as coyotes, bobcats, beaver, and mink that live around the lake. It's the crown jewel of the Dallas Park system and one that draws not only the jogger and cyclist, but also the nature watcher.
